Other Stuff you need to know

Lady Northcote Discovery Camp

Lady Northcote Discovery Camp is located just over an hour's drive west of Melbourne. It has excellent facilities for camping and indoor accommodation, along with good quality kitchens and ablution areas. With a variety of accessible accommodation and workshop spaces, it is ideal for running an inclusive and affordable camp with something for all ages and levels of experience. It is surrounded by beautiful countryside including some excellent hiking nearby and is a hotspot for land regeneration and nature projects including the impressive Grow West initiative.

What to Bring

If you are camping and self catering you will need to come self contained. The nearest shops are in Bacchus Marsh, a 15 minute drive from the camp.

If you have booked bunk room accommodation you will need to bring your own sheets, blankets/sleeping bag, pillows and towels. A torch or head lamp is highly recommended to help with movement around the camp at night. And of course, bring your musical instruments and some music to share!!
Phone and Internet

Phone coverage is fair to good for most providers though some may need to hunt for a sweet spot. There will be a comms board and bush telegraph for old school networking so you could consider going phone free. We can dream!!

Weather

The long range weather forecast is for temps ranging in the low to mid 20s with periods of sun and cloud. Days may be warm, but evenings likely to be cool so come prepared to rug up. We suggest you pack a rain coat and brolly to be prepared for fun regardless of the weather.
