Turramurra Folk Music Camp

15-17 March 2024

Lady Northcote Recreation Camp, Glenmore

Hi everyone,

Can you hear the sound of tin whistles and corellas in the air? That must mean it’s almost time to load up the car with instruments and ideas and head to Turra again. In 2024 coming together on Wadawurrung Country to share joy and laughter and music will be more important than ever - or maybe as important as it’s always been, we just sometimes don’t get a chance to remember. Until the next folk music bush camp rolls around, that is!

So, as we do every year, we cordially invite you to set up camp, dust the cobwebs off your instrument, try a completely new skill, dance the waves of tory and remember what it’s like to be a part of the choir.

Set in the beautiful bush environment of the Rowsley Valley, just over an hour's drive West of Melbourne, the next Turramurra Folk Music Bush Camp will take place on

Friday Evening 15th March to Sunday 17th March 2024

Note the camp will take place during school term in 2024 and conclude early on Sunday evening allowing time to drive home for the start of the week. We will return to the usual timeslot in the first term school holidays in 2025 (11-14 April 2025).

Will be held at the YMCA's  Lady Northcote Discovery Camp, 1273 Glenmore Rd, Glenmore.
