We're very pleased to announce that Felix Meagher of Lake School fame will be leading this year's beginner and intermediate fiddle workshops! Felix is a Melbourne based musician and composer, longtime member and sometime manager of Melbourne's number one Bushdance Band since 1981 - Bushwazee! Felix is reknowned for his ability to include fiddlers of all ages and abilities in his workshops, and specialises in bowing for Irish tunes particularly. You can find him teaching regularly at the Carrum Senior Citizen's Hall and leading the monthly Celtic session at the Chelsea Yacht Club. In addition to his fiddling around, Felix has written two musicals - "The Man they call Banjo" and "Barry verses Kelly", which have been touring around Victoria in the last 6 months. Rosewood is very lucky to be hosting this fantastic music enabler, so fiddle players, make sure you've packed plenty of rosin and a few spare strings - Felix will be keeping you challenged and engaged in his Irish flavoured workshops!
