If you're a handy person who needs to save funds you might be perfect for a volunteer role at camp! Volunteers attend for free in exchange for a few hours of work in support of the camp (this can be prior to and after as well). If you want to stay in a bunkhouse you will need to pay for this ($60).
We've filled some roles but are looking for a few more helping hands, so if you'd like to apply to volunteer at this year's camp, head to: http://www.rosesgapmusiccamp.org.au/volunteers.html
Roles include setting up and packing up the site, supervising washup, helper at rego desk, signage, photography/videography, stage managing, children's area setup and support.
If your application is successful, you'll be given a special code for use when registering your tickets. This code gives access to a complimentary registration & camping ticket and a full price bunkhouse ticket if required. If you're worried about missing out on a bunkhouse while the decisions are made, let us know and we can reserve a bed for you if you end up needing to purchase rego after all.
Hooray! The time has finally come, registrations are now open for the 2016 Rosewood Music Camp! Thanks for your patience, we hope that you'll jump on in quickly and tell all your friends to come. This year's camp will have a Latin influence - stay tuned to hear about the fantastic lineup of tutors and workshops we have in store for you.
A few things to note:
We're still clarifying how to do meal orders for this year, but for those of you wanting healthy nutritious lunch and dinner options that you don't have to prepare yourself, rest assured information will be sent to all ticket holders as soon as details are confirmed.
Outdoor Ed activities run by the lovely staff at Charnwood are now included in your ticket price, so there is no need to purchase wristbands this year. Signup sheets for these sessions will be available at the camp registration desk.
Bunkhouse meal catering
The committee are working on expanding the catering facilities for those in bunkhouses to make your cooking a little easier this year. A "campers kitchen" will be set up under cover between the upper two bunkhouses.
We are closely monitoring the gmail box so if you have a question that you can't find an answer to in the info provided (including the website!) please do email us and someone will respond ASAP.
Call out for photos and videos
If any of you there have some great photos and footage from last year that you're happy to share please get in touch - we can use this to freshen up the website and get everyone excited for this year's camp.
Stay tuned! More exciting news to come.
